Neve Myburgh

Neve is an international FEI competitor, with starts and victories in Germany, France, South Africa and the US. She has consistently been among the top performers in CDIs, riding for Germany and spending most of her time competing and training in Wellington, Florida.

Neve became enamored with horses at a very young age. She began riding at a local riding school at age 8 and only 3 years later her dreams came true when got her first horse. At age 18, Neve’s passion and fascination with the sport steered her towards a Bereiter qualification with Reitmeister Wolfram Wittig in Germany. Graduating with honors from the Deutsche Reitschule: Landgestut Warendorf, Neve spent 10 years in Germany, first completing the three year Bereiter program, and then working and competing as such. 

The invaluable experience gained during her apprenticeship along with a variety of other trainings she received, led Neve to establish a very ‘hands-on’ approach with her horses. Understanding that direct care is imperative to their general care and management, it became essential that she knows how horses feel on and off their backs.

• Winner of the 2016 Global Dressage Festival 12 CDI PSG and 2nd in Int I Freestyle
