Erin KellerhouseErin’s obsession for horses started at a young age when her parents bought her a pony for her 5th birthday.  The pony ended up being slightly green for a 5 yr old and  started Erin out on the path of being an event rider, by taking off and dumping her on a regular basis.  When Erin was 14 she got a 6 yr old Thoroughbred off the track named Swift Ridge.  Erin took “Swifty” from  a racehorse up to the 1* level when he retired in 2003. 

Erin now operates her own business, Swift Ridge Eventing, based out of Kingsway Farm in Temecula, Ca.  At Kingsway Farm, her focus is on her clientele which consists of students ranging in experience from beginner novice up to the 2* level, and 24 horses in training.  Erin’s teaching and riding fundamentals focus on patience and the importance of flat work in order to achieve success in dressage, cross country and show jumping. 

Erin currently has two of her own horses that she is aiming for the upper levels.  In 2005 she started her pinto mare, Parfait, under saddle and as of the July 2009 season, has just finished her 2nd Intermediate horse trials.  Her goal for this year is to compete Parfait at the Galway Downs CCI 2* in November.  In addition to Parfait, Erin also has an exciting 4 yr. old gelding, Cristal, who she will be competing in his first event this summer.

Erin has found the RevitaVet system to be very helpful for bumps and bruises, as well as  more serious injuries.   This past spring, one of her horses had surgery to remove a bone fragment in his stifle.  After 9 months of treatment and recovery, the horse is a 100% percent sound and ready to go back to work.  During his recovery after surgery they were diligent about using the RevitaVet system and believe it was a huge contributor to his quick recovery!  Thank you RevitaVet!!!
