Andrea Baxter

Andrea Baxter is known for wearing many hats in the sport of eventing....and running events such as Twin Rivers Horse Trials is just one.

Andrea and her family bought the 500 acre ranch in 2001 as a deserted farm. By January 2004, they had renovated the overgrown and trashed farmland into a full equestrian facility with a recognized events from Beginner through Advanced. FEI events were soon to follow, and Twin Rivers is now known for the spring CCI*/** and the fall CIC3*. In 2009, Revitavet became a product sponsor of the event.

Before Twin Rivers, Andrea had been competing since she was a tag along kid with her mom, Connie who competed in eventing. Andrea moved up the levels of eventing at the beginning of the calendar year in which she was old enough to compete at each level, eventually becoming a member of the North American Young Riders Championships for Area VI in 98, 99, and 01. Andrea also grew up participating in Pony Club, eventually graduating as an "A" rated member of Black Oaks PC in 2004 at the age of 21.

More recently, Andrea has been competing at the Advanced level on 2 horses, Estrella a home bred and Skywalker IV, owned by Thom Schulz. Both horses were successfully named to the USEF Developing Rider squad in 06, 07, and 08 Andrea and Estrella competed on the east coast in 2008 where they earned their highest accomplishment of 2nd place at the CCI3* at Bromont in Quebec, Canada.

Andrea is very fond of her RevitaVet system, using it on herself and her horses regularly. "It is one of the few things out there that I can use on myself and actually feel remarkably better after just 15mins of use! If it does that for me, I am willing to take time to use it on my horses too!  I put it on my Advanced horse’s bowed tendon each night when she is eating dinner and have seen remarkable results as the tendon seems less and less obvious!"
